Robert Simon moved to Winston-Salem in 1981 after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in music education and conducting. Although his life's passion and focus was originally music and the thrill of conducting, Rob took a job with a local Winston-Salem jewelry store in order to pay down his student loans and to save up some money while continuing to focus on growing his music career.

What quickly started out as a potential short-term retail position quickly brought out the inner-businessman in Rob, and before he knew it he was on the road nationally as a sales representative at the wholesale jewelry level, traveling state to state and store to store, working shows across the country at various retailers of all shapes and sizes. He then went on to start his own wholesale jewelry company, while continuing to travel nationally, prior to realizing that he wanted to grow his roots and his family by settling down in one place: Winston-Salem.

Meet the new BREITLING Chronomat Collection 2020

The Breitling Chronomat, Breitling's all-purpose watch for your every pursuit, has been redesigned in 2020. Each
chronograph in the new collection is powered by the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, an in-house mechanical movement that delivers power reserve of about 70 hours.

Per Breitling CEO Georges Kern, "When much of the industry focused their efforts and energies on quartz watches, the Chronomat reminded the world that Breitling had essentially invented the modern mechanical chronograph."

Available in a variety of materials including steel and 18 karat red gold, the Chronomat features a 42-millimeter case and its iconic bezel with four rider tabs. The rider tabs protect the crystal and make the manipulation of the bezel easier. With a range of black, blue, silver and copper dials, the Chronomat features their signature "Rouleaux" bracelet with a butterfly clasp. The hands of every Chronomat B01 42 are coated with Super-LumiNova®, a luminescent material that enhances legibility in all lighting conditions.

The Chronomat Bentley style is a collaboration with the British luxury auto brand, featuring a "BENTLEY" engraving around the transparent sapphire caseback. It has a 42 mm stainless-steel case with a green dial and black contrasting
chronograph counters on a stainless-steel Rouleaux bracelet with a butterfly clasp.
