Windsor Time: Three Blue Watches That Are Perfect For Summer
May 18th, 2026
Whether it is a day at the pool or sipping a cocktail overlooking the beach, with summer almost here, we thought we would do a round-up of three blue watches that are ideal for wherever the season takes you.
1: Breitling Superocean Heritage 42mm

A classic from the brand, this Superocean Heritage II in 42mm on the mesh bracelet is perfect for summer. The milanese-bracelet has such a great retro-inspired look to it, and a lot of brands are heading in this direction. The main thing to keep in mind is that while this is a 42mm case, it wears larger than similar 42mm divers in our opinion. The shorter lugs help with this size, but this is a watch for someone who prefers a larger format for their dive watches. The blue sunburst dial on this is what really sets it apart. Paired with the blue ceramic bezel, this could easily be thrown on a rubber or fabric strap to mix it up.

2: Panerai Luminor Due Titanium

While suggesting a Panerai as a summer watch is nothing groundbreaking, suggesting a Due might be. With its 30 meters of water resistance, it is more than enough to swim in a pool in our opinion. The real catch here is the titanium 42mm case. This watch feels roughly half the weight of a standard stainless steel Luminor, and its reduced size makes it more wearable for a wider audience. From our experience, the larger 44-47mm Luminor models can become a little uncomfortable during the hotter months of the year as you start to sweat. The blue dial would pair well with one of Panerai's blue, orange, or even white straps. This is also a watch that, during the cooler months, would look great on a leather strap, as shown in the photo.

3: Zenith Chronomaster Sport

Our final pick is the Zenith Chronomaster Sport! This blue dial chronograph from Zenith wears so balanced on the wrist and is a stunning shade of blue. We love the tri-colored subdials that accent the main blue dial. Under the hood is the brand's famous El Primero movement, a legend among automatic chronographs. The three-link bracelet features something I think is a necessity on any summer watch: micro-adjustment! It easily pops out for on-the-fly adjustments.
