Why layer only your sweaters and scarves’
January 22nd, 2020
Many winter jewelry trends include the mixing and matching of chokers and necklaces with varied and longer chains. Pull your necklaces up and over a turtleneck, and layer other necklaces to add dimension against a solid colored sweater.
For bracelets, wear them over your sweater sleeves. Bangles are the best choice since they're typically bigger than a clasped bracelet and can slip over your sweater sleeves easier. Match gold and silver, chunky and thin, as well as a pop of color with gems and stones.
If layering is not your thing, go simple and wear your favorite pendants. Nothing looks more elegant than a simple yellow or white gold pendant necklace against a black turtleneck. Another pendant look you can go for is a single stone or diamond laid on top of a chunky, knitted sweater giving you a high end look with very little effort and the perfect combination of elegance and coziness.
For your earrings, don't be afraid to wear a bold statement earring this winter! If you must cover up with a hat and scarf, you can still pull off a chic winter jewelry look with a beautiful statement earring. This is your chance to go big - literally. We suggest wearing something larger than you may normally wear so that your earrings you choose will be more visible. Large earrings will also keep the attention closer to your face, letting your hat and scarf simply frame the picture.
For rings, stack them up underneath your gloves or place a huge ring on top of your glove - and remember spring is only 57 days away!
